Property ServicesCommercial CleaningHow we work
The order is the product.
Any contractor can clean a room. What a client is buying is the sequence that makes the next room, and the one after that, come out the same.
In order. Each one exists because the one before it produces something that has to be acted on, and skipping any of them shows up two months later rather than on the night.
- 01
Standards
The National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025 as the working framework across every sector, not only healthcare.
- 02
Scope control
A written specification per site. Changes are agreed in writing rather than absorbed.
- 03
Products and COSHH
A defined product range with a safety data sheet and a COSHH assessment held for each, eye protection and glove type stated per product, and incompatible products identified so they are never used together.
- 04
Colour coding
Four colours, never crossed: blue for general and lower-risk areas, green for kitchen and food areas, red for sanitary areas and washroom floors, yellow for washbasins and other washroom surfaces. Red and yellow stay separated within the same washroom.
- 05
Risk assessment and method
A site-specific risk assessment and method statement, reviewed on change of scope or premises.
- 06
Quality assurance
Scored technical audits against the target for the area, plus efficacy checks on the process itself.
- 07
Reporting
Both cleaners sign the shift record, and anything not completed is recorded with the reason rather than left blank. Inspection scores, failures with reasons and rectification status go to the client in a format they can forward.
- 08
Corrective action
Material service defects reported by the client are rectified within 24 hours, or as soon as reasonably practicable where 24 hours is not. Actions carry an owner and a due date, and one that slips twice becomes an issue in its own right.
Equipment, products and PPE
Correllatn supplies labour, cleaning equipment, products, personal protective equipment and wet floor signage. Where the client holds washroom consumables, Correllatn replenishes as well as monitors: stock is checked every shift and refilled before it runs out, so staff are not hunting for supplies during the day.
Nothing, until something goes wrong
Controls are invisible while they work. The specification is agreed once, the inspection takes an hour, the report is a page. What they buy is that a failure is found by us and fixed against a deadline, rather than found by you and argued about.
