Property ServicesCommercial Cleaning
An operating system, not a cleaning round.
Scope, frequency and required standard are written down before the first shift. Inspections are scored against them and failures carry a deadline.
Where we work
Healthcare and GP practices
Treatment rooms, consulting rooms, waiting areas and washrooms, cleaned to functional risk categories with scored technical audits.
Offices and workspaces
A repeatable evening service with the same controls, the same records and the same inspection regime.
Blocks of flats and communal areas
Recurring contracts for managing agents and residents management companies, procured like any commercial site.
Short let and rental stock
Changeover and turnaround, end of tenancy and void cleaning, with inventory and check-in reporting.
Every area carries a target
Correllatn measures against the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025. Each area is allocated a functional risk category, and the target score follows from the category rather than from one figure applied to the whole building.
| Area | Category | Target |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment and minor operations rooms | FR2 | 95% |
| Consultation and clinical rooms, clinical corridors | FR3 | 90% |
| Reception, waiting, entrance, public corridors, toilets | FR4 | 85% |
| Staff kitchen, staff room, offices | FR5 | 80% |
| Storage and back of house | FR6 | 75% |
Allocation is the client’s to make and is confirmed with them before it is used. Where the scope is environmental cleaning only, the score covers what Correllatn is responsible for.
The safety gate
- Colour coding observed, no equipment crossing between colours
- Chemicals labelled, decanted only into labelled working bottles
- Cleaning cupboard locked and secure
- Clinical and general waste correctly segregated
- Protective equipment worn where the task requires it
- Premises secured on leaving
These are not scored, because they are not matters of degree. Any failure is an immediate corrective action regardless of the score. A 95% inspection with an unlocked chemical cupboard is not a pass.
-
BlueGeneral and lower-risk areas: reception, waiting, corridors, clinical room environmental surfaces, offices, staff room
-
GreenKitchen and food areas: worktops, sink, appliances
-
RedSanitary areas and washroom floors: pan, seat, cistern, floor
-
YellowWashbasins and other washroom surfaces: basin, taps, mirror, dispensers
Three audits, not one inspection.
Two numbers come off one sheet. The cleanliness score is the headline and is reported to the client. Quality of finish is tracked separately, because a headline that holds while the finish drifts is the early warning.
Technical
Cleanliness scored element by element, room by room, with a recorded reason for every failure.
Efficacy
The process itself checked at the point of delivery: colour coding, method, dilution, PPE.
External
Independent annual assurance over both.
