Every page is rendered and measured automatically before each release, at 390, 768, 1280 and 1600 pixels wide.

Motion

There is no animation, autoplay or parallax. Where a transition exists it is disabled entirely when your system asks for reduced motion.

Target size

No link or control is smaller than 24 pixels in either direction, other than links sitting inline within a sentence.

Contrast

Text colour is measured against the background it actually renders on, not against the colour it was meant to have. Every text element meets the AA threshold for its size.

Layout

No page scrolls sideways at any of the tested widths. Headings run in order without skipped levels, and the enquiry form works with JavaScript turned off.

Focus

Every focusable element shows a visible focus outline. This is checked element by element rather than assumed from a stylesheet rule.

Keyboard

Every link, button and field is reachable by keyboard, in the order the page reads, with no traps. A skip link is the first thing you reach.

Specification tables scroll sideways on a narrow screen

The cleaning standards tables have more columns than a phone can show. They sit in a scrollable region that can be reached and moved by keyboard and is announced as scrollable, but it is still a sideways scroll.

No independent audit and no user testing

Everything above is measured by our own tooling. The site has not been audited by a third party, and it has not been tested by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology day to day. We would rather say so than imply more.
